Structured Light Scanners

From leading Polish manufacturer – SMARTTECH 3D.

About SmartTech3D Structured Light Scanners

Structured light scanners capture 3D surface data using a projection source, cameras, triangulation and processing software. The projector projects a series of parallel black and white lines onto the surface to be scanned and then the cameras take an image of the stripes on the surface. As the lines are deformed or deflected by the 3D shape of the surface, the resulting data collected after post-processing in the appropriate software represents a point cloud of the true 3D shape of the surface.

SMARTTECH3D was established in 2000 by a group of doctors and researchers from the Warsaw University of Technology.

For 20 years the Company has been developing and improving contactless measurement methods based on structured LED light, especially white LED. This allows the realistic shape to be created with full-colour reproduction. Combining this with the 24 MP resolution, which is the highest available on the market, SMARTTECH3D is a leader in 3D digitalization in archaeology and museology.

By entering the world of metrology, we learned from our clients that every detail matters and must be captured with the highest possible accuracy.

SMARTTECH 3D has created a line of MICRON3D scanners dedicated to professional solutions and the most demanding customers.
