Last week we spent the week on the Starrett Australia stand at the National Manufacturing Week exhibition hosted by Reed Exhibitions at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park, at Homebush.
The Show, according to Reed was particularly well visited despite the decision of many in the machine tool sector not to attend NMW but favouring attending the bi-annual AUSTECH in Melbourne.
On the Starrett Australia stand we had the Starrett HE400, an entry-level optical projector running M2 software on a 10″ Tablet, the very popular HDV300 digital video projector and the Starrett FMS1000 force testing system for the testing of plastics, packaging and medical products etc. and which has again been very successful for Starrett in the US.
Unfortunately, the new AVR300 CNC video-based vision system with M3 software didn’t arrive in time for the Show but instead it will be available for demonstrations and measurement studies at Starrett’s Melbourne offices in Bayswater.
