WENZEL Group announces the expanded WENZEL LH range of their high-accuracy CMMs will cater for the needs of the medical sector
The expanded WENZEL LH range of CMMs has been announced to cater to the growing demand for medical products and devices. The LH range is a high-accuracy family of CMMs. With the addition of the Renishaw REVO 5-axis indexing head, these solutions will enable medical product manufacturers to accurately and consistently measure important medical components to benefit customers and patients.
The expanded LH range of CMMs now includes smaller sizes of LH 65/67, 85/87 and 105/107.

Verisurf Software 2025 brings advanced new features across all modules and additional connectivity for new arms and probes.
Verisurf Software Inc. recently announced the release of Verisurf Software 2025, which includes advanced new features, including support for vision probe systems from Renishaw for CMMs. Met Optix has been a sales partner for Verisurf Software in ANZ since 2014 and supplies most of our portable arm hardware with Verisurf. The Hexagon Metrology-manufactured Master3DGage has been a solid seller in the market. The hardware combined with Verisurf CAD/Measure software represents excellent value and allows many new users to enter the world of 3D metrology.
Another vital growth area for Met Optix is retrofitting customers’ CMMs with Verisurf CMM Programming & Inspection Suite. Combined with the UNIVERSAL CMM module from Verisurf, this package allows users to run their CMMs with Verisurf for new part programs but still retain the ability to run their old CMM programs in the legacy software provided with the CMM. In other words, it is the best of both worlds. It is also very pleasing to announce that Verisurf 2025 has a fully developed Verisurf Device Interface (VDI) for the range of portable arms from PMT Technologies. We can now supply PMT arms with Verisurf software, giving customers more choice of software and access to Verisurf Software’s excellent support.
